SUMMARY:Relics of Saint Bernadette Soubirous and an Immersive Lourdes Ex

DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate the Lourdes experience at the Basilica.\n\nTh
 is 2.5-day experience offers the chance to venerate the relics of St. Be
 rnadette in the Great Upper Church.\n\nAt the same time\, the Chapel of 
 Our Lady of Lourdes on the lower level will offer a chance to engage wit
 h physical aspects of the Grotto in France. Attendees may touch part of 
 the rock and experience water from the spring.\n\nOn Friday and Saturday
 \, events include  masses\, rosaries\, and confessions. On Friday\, Car
 dinal McElroy with celebrate the 12:10 mass. On Saturday\, the 4:30 pm v
 igil mass will be followed by a 6:00 pm candlelight procession.\n\nOn Su
 nday\, the Lourdes experience concludes with the 12 noon mass. Most Reve
 rend Gabriele G. Caccia\, Apostolic Nuncio to the United States\, will b
 e the principal celebrant and homilist. After mass\, the reliquary will 
 be processed out.\n\nRelics of St. Bernadette Soubirous (of Lourdes)\n\n
 Visit the Great Upper Church of the Basilica to venerate the relics of t
 his great saint. In 1858\, when St. Bernadette was a young girl in Franc
 e\, the Blessed Mother appeared to her and declared “I am the Immacula
 te Conception.”\n\nLourdes Immersive Experience\n\nVisit the Chapel of
  Our Lady of Lourdes on the lower level of the Basilica for an immersive
  experience similar to the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes in France. Pilg
 rims can touch part of the rock that makes up the grotto and cleanse the
 mselves with water from the spring where Our Lady told us to go. “Go t
 o the spring\, drink of it and wash yourself there.” Lastly\, light a 
 candle and entrust your petitions to Our Blessed Mother.\n\n 	Livestream
