To support, empower, and educate women in spirituality, leadership, and service with programs that respond with Gospel values to the needs of the Church and society in the modern world.
Purpose
To promote spiritual growth, leadership potential, and service opportunities for the women of the archdiocese;
To promote awareness of archdiocesan activities for women related to spirituality, leadership, and service;
To be a hub through which members may speak and act on matters of common interest;
To act upon current issues in the Church and society as missionary disciples of Jesus Christ;
To promote understanding of the Church and its teachings;
To collaborate with other civic and social entities and ecumenical and interfaith groups to aid in the solution of current problems.
Since September 2018, the Council of Catholic Women (CCW) has been hosting a nightly Rosary call for the healing of the Church, healing and for callers’ personal intentions.
All (men, women, children, non-CCW members) are welcome to join us any night of the week — or every night of the week!
Maybe once a month on your birthdate? Please join us at 8:00 p.m. as we read meditations on the Rosary’s mysteries and pray together.
